MG Valeting and Detailing required a logo design for their new start-up business. Matthew is confident of his skills with detailing and enthusiastic about his business so the logo had to reflect this.
Being car enthusiasts we were very keen to help build their first brand with confidence. We had spent hundreds of hours washing and preparing cars ourselves and could utilise this experience in our design. We know how important cars are to their owners who who have them detailed so the brand needed suitable credibility. The branding would need to project the care and attention Matthew takes with customer vehicles.
After starting my own business Valeting & Detailing I needed a logo, Facebook cover photo, website banner, flyers and business cards. We created some initial concepts to show Matthew before progressing further with his preferred choice. Showing some real world use of his logo helped us refine the design and provide the right choice of colour options. In this case, we demonstrated the logo on signage, van branding and some digital adverts.
As part of the overall brand we wanted to use the logo sitting on car-related textures as much as possible, including carbon fibre and leather to illustrate a high-end service. This flows across all of the MG branding including their leaflets, business cards and social images.
