Return to Movement approached us for a brand refresh. The brief centred around creating a logo and social brand that represents their high levels of service and professional expertise. Return to Movement offer pilates classes as well as sports and remedial massage in Basingstoke and Winchester, Hampshire. With experience of working with elite athletes they have earned the trust of high profile clients. It was important for us to provide a brand to convey that professionalism.
Through a number of discussions we got to know more about Return to Movement. About the services provided, how they are provided and who they are aimed at. They help people return to their hobbies, jobs, competitions and general movement. They positively impact peoples lives for the better. This understanding allowed us to develop elements into the new logo that will be used to highlight these positive messages.
The visual logo concept
The chosen logo design is based on the concept of embracing the challenge. The challenge of setting and reaching goals or simply the challenge of recovery. In a visual sense, we modified the 'E' in the logo to represent steps towards achieving a goal, embracing the mountainous 'M', a symbol synonymous with challenges. These elements will be used independently to promote challenge and adventure.

Furthermore, the brand will show a new range of 'Return to...' themes in adverts and social posts. Returning people to competition, cycling, running, swimming. To whichever physical activities make them happy. We felt this was a powerful and inspirational theme.
